The waist is measured at its narrowest part, slightly above the belly button.
The high hips are measured half-way between the widest part of the buttocks and the waist.
The hips are measured at the widest part of the buttocks, next to the wrists.
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZEChoose your size by comparing your body measurements with the BODY MEASUREMENTS table above or the one provided with the instructions, not according to the size you buy in stores.
To choose a size, pick one with the closest measurements to yours. As a rule of thumb, top, dress or coat size is chosen according to your bust, and skirt or pant size according to your hips.
If your measurements are in between two sizes, pick the larger one.
HOW TO ADD SIZESIf your measurements are not included in the chart above, add more sizes to the pattern by extending the grading nest. Download our tutorial on how to add sizes to a multi-size pattern here.
HEIGHTOur patterns are drafted according to a height of 1m63 (5ft4). If needed, cut through the adjustment lines on the pattern to lengthen or shorten the garment. Download our tutorial on how to adjust a pattern for petite or tall here.
